The Wellington at Island Park condo building
Much in line with the Claridge Plaza condos, The Wellington at Island Park is yet another massively popular condo building that has emerged in Ottawa’s super cool Wellington Village neighbourhood.
The condo units went on sale sometime last month around 6pm, and the 250-person line wrapped around the block. Some were there to put deposits down on new homes and other were merely investors, hoping to snap up one of the 39 condos to add to their portfolios.
Wellington Village has a fantastic art scene, unique culture, charming shops and cafes, all along the Ottawa River. It is close-knit community, and this fact alone has attracted many future residents.
The Wellington at Island Park condos have floorplans that range from 503 to a more spacious 945 square feet. Although the condos are somewhat on the smaller side, more compact homes are being favoured as of late. The prices for the units range from $249,900 to $44,800. There are three penthouse units at the top of the building that are going for over $1 million.
